Columbus, OH, November 9, 2007 – Comprehensive capital provider RED CAPITAL GROUP opened offices recently in Voorhees, New Jersey and in Syracuse, New York, hiring experienced multifamily professionals Larry Morier and John Cook to help build the firm’s presence in the area.
Both Morier and Cook joined RED’s mortgage banking entity, Red Mortgage Capital, Inc. and will focus on originations. Also joining the Voorhees office is Teresa A. Theisen, who will provide analysis and loan processing support. James F. Croft, President and COO of Red Mortgage Capital, Inc. said, "Larry, John and Teresa are experienced professionals having an extensive knowledge of financing commercial multifamily and seniors housing properties. We will be looking to them to significantly expand our presence in upstate New York, New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania."
Laurence E. Morier, III has over 30 years of multifamily mortgage experience, having previously served as President of New Jersey-based Quaker Capital, an FHA/MAP-Approved Mortgagee and loan servicer. He also had previous tenures with The Morey Organization, Inc., First Pennsylvania Bank and Marine National Bank (Horizon Bancorp).
John F. Cook has over 30 years of experience in the mortgage industry and was previously employed as Managing Director of Commercial Lending and Conventional Lending Services with Quaker Capital, LP and prior to that held officer positions with Richmond County Savings Bank, New York Community Bank, Home Federal Savings Bank and Fleet Bank.
Teresa A. Theisen will provide support as a loan analyst and loan processor. She also has over 30 years of experience in the mortgage industry and has held the position of Senior Loan Analyst and Settlement Coordinator for FHA/HUD Multifamily Originations with Quaker Capital, LP. She also previously worked for GreenPoint Mortgage and Bank of America Mortgage Company.
