Columbus, OH, September 21, 2007 – Comprehensive capital provider RED CAPITAL GROUP is pleased to announce its acquisition of Quaker Capital’s FHA Servicing Portfolio. Additionally, Laurence E. Morier, III and Teresa A. Theisen have joined Red Mortgage Capital, Inc., the mortgage banking arm of RED CAPITAL GROUP, in conjunction with the acquisition.
Laurence E. Morier, III will continue to be based in Voorhees, in order to best serve his existing customer base. Under his direction and guidance, the firm will build a significant and highly effective presence in the region. Mr. Morier will enhance RED’s existing relationships and opening doors to new relationships with both national and regional borrowers. He will continue to focus on the origination of financing opportunities for multifamily, seniors and healthcare mortgage loans, with an emphasis on FHA mortgage insurance programs, as well as other commercial mortgage loan opportunities.
Larry comes to RED from Quaker Capital, LP, an FHA lender where he served as President. Prior to Quaker Capital, Larry was employed by The Morey Organization, Inc., First Pennsylvania Bank and Marine National Bank (Horizon Bancorp).
Teresa A. Theisen has joined Red Mortgage Capital, Inc. as well. Terri will work in RED’s FHA Group as a loan analyst and processor. She will be providing analytical and processing support to Larry Morier in Voorhees, NJ, as well as to other RED FHA originators.
Terri brings to RED over 30 years of experience in the mortgage industry. Most recently, Terri was employed as Senior Loan Analyst and Settlement Coordinator for FHA/HUD Multifamily Originations with Quaker Capital, LP. She has also worked for Ryno Marketing, GreenPoint Mortgage and Bank of America Mortgage Company.
