| Mr. Goodman is a member of RED CAPITAL GROUP’s Executive Committee and serves as Chairman of Red Mortgage Capital, Inc. He joined Banc One’s Housing and Health Care Group in 1990 and played a key role in forming Banc One Capital Funding Corporation in 1991. He has worked in tax-exempt and taxable real estate finance for over 25 years and has been the mortgage banker and/or bond underwriter on over 350 housing and health care finance transactions nationwide. In addition to his management duties, Mr. Goodman remains active in the origination and structuring of multifamily housing and health care finance transactions. His expertise in housing and nursing home finance is reflected by a number of notable transactions, including closing: (i) the first multifamily bond issue under the draft 103(b)(4)(A) regulations; (ii) the first tax-exempt/taxable GNMA backed multifamily bond issue; (iii) the first tax-exempt co-insured 221(d)(4) bond issue; (iv) the first tax-exempt/taxable MBIA insured multifamily bond issue without underlying FHA insurance; (v) the first refinances of multifamily projects employing FHA Section 223(a)(7). Mr. Goodman was graduated from the University of Virginia as an Echols Scholar, received his Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia and practiced law until 1974 when he entered the mortgage banking field. |
